Strategy Trybe Secures ARCON Accreditation, Poised to Transform Nigerian Marketing Landscape

Strategy Trybe, a community of strategists and account planners, gets accredited by the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

In a significant development for Nigeria’s marketing communications industry, Strategy Trybe, a burgeoning community of Strategists and Account Planners in Africa, has received accreditation from the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) for its Institute of Strategy and Account Planning. This milestone aligns with the organisation’s vision to democratise strategy knowledge whilst nurturing Africa’s next generation of Strategic leaders.

Established in 2018 by one of the continent’s most sought-after Integrated Marketing Communications Strategists, Sherif Lanre Akinpelu, Strategy Trybe has been addressing the critical strategy gap in Africa’s marketing communications industry. The ARCON endorsement not only validates the school’s innovative approach but also reinforces its position as a pivotal force in shaping the future of marketing communications education across the African continent.

Mr Akinpelu, commenting on the accreditation, emphasised Strategy Trybe’s unwavering commitment to excellence. “We’re not merely filling a talent void; we’re actively charting the course for Africa’s Marketing Communications industry,” he stated.

Its faculty roster boasts industry luminaries, including Nnenna Onyewuchi, Idiare Atimomo, Fanen Acho, Ntombizamasala Hlophe, Yomi Martyns, Fred Akinmuyisitan, Rita Ajayi, Ayo Ishola, Femisire Ajayi, Adedeji Adeleke, and alongside international marketing experts, ensuring students benefit from world-class tutelage.

The ARCON accreditation, specifically for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Strategy & Account Planning programmes, allows Strategy Trybe graduates to sit for the final (level three) ARCON exam and register as an Associate Members (ARPA) of the council.

This accreditation fast-tracks their path to becoming registered advertising professionals in Nigeria. As the pioneer of Africa’s Strategists Hangout in 2020, Strategy Trybe continues to spearhead initiatives bridging generational gaps in the industry. The organisation also boasts a thriving online community, offering daily learning, networking, and mentoring opportunities for strategists and other marketing communications professionals in Africa.
